The Big Kid

In the village of Lion’s Bay, there is a boy who everyone calls, Big Kid. He is an extremely tall boy who has black, soulless eyes and fists as tough as steel. He thinks he runs the place and everyone is sick of it. So we, the kids, decided to stand up to him. It was the idea of a boy named Paul Norris. He told us all that we didn’t have to just take it; he taught us that we could stand up for ourselves. He thought of a plan that would help us get rid of Big Kid’s bad attitude for good. The plan started in the late afternoon and we all knew what we had to do.
Paul, being the mastermind of the plan, thought that he should be the one to do the most dangerous task. He went up to Big Kid who looked as evil as ever. Big Kid gave Paul a penetrating glare as Paul approached him with a baseball.
“Give me that ball you little brat!” shouted Big Kid. Paul didn’t give it to him and we all knew he would suffer the consequences. Outraged, Big Kid grabbed the cricket bat and hit Paul squarely across the face. Blood started running down his face faster than a cat chasing a mouse. We, the other kids, ran to the scene as Big Kid was stomping in Paul’s stomach. His clothes and face were by then, covered with blood. We ran to attack Big Kid but he was clever. He grabbed a handful of sand and threw it at us. We were all blinded. In seconds we were all helpless and on the ground with Big Kid punching and kicking us down till we blacked out.
We awoke to the noises of a hospital. We asked the doctors what had happened and they said that our plan had worked. The plan was for someone to hide in the bushes and videotape the scene while Big Kid was beating us up. He had taken the evidence to the police station. Now Big Kid has to do community service for the next sixteen years and if he ever hurts any of us again he will be locked up in a prison for a very long time. So all in all the plan worked and besides the cuts and bruises, we achieved our goal, we got rid of Big Kid.
